Happy first monday after Thanksgiving. Hopefully your hangover has been kicked by now!
Received my first offer today since being laid of November 17th.
Prefacing this, I am utilizing the "Negotiating a base salary/comp package" in the academy but have other questions I'm looking for clarity and direction on.
Job Title: Sales Manager reporting to Managing Director. Manufacturing company for B2B components in the medical space. There is no sales team and has primarily relied on 4-5 big key accounts to drive majority of their sales (think 80/20 rule).
Full autonomy on approaching growth how I see fit.
Current offer:
$75k base salary
1% commission on pre-determined customers
(I was originally told the OTE was $130k plus via commissions and company bonus, but there is no reference of that or any other bonus/commission in the offer)
Benefits:
Medical and Dental - (Company pays $80% of employee and children).

Life insurance - $25,000
401k plan - applicable after 3 months employment (100% match at 3% and 50% match on next 2%)
Nine paid holidays
Holidays - One week after one year of service plus 2 personal days per calendar year (pro-rated).
Questions I have:
- Can you elaborate more on the commission?
- Is there a company bonus?
- Am I capped?
- How is quota determined?
- PTO days?
- Can you elaborate on the "holidays - one week" part?
- Can we change my title to Sales Director? - disclaimer: I don't care either way, but feel director will help me down the line.
There are probably a bunch of questions I'm forgetting and WOULD LOVE any advice you may have.
