Julia needs a humbling!

1 year 3 months as an AE and apparently she has more answers than the Bible, Quran and Torah combined 

sick of seeing her everywhere. 

Particulalry disappointed in 30MTPC for having her on when there are way more experienced and knowledgeable sales execs out there. 

She is the ONLY AE at her current company - of course she's fucking doing well :s

Am I just hating on her or is she Class A dic**ead?

What’s she’s saying isn’t wrong, but it certainly isn’t breaking news either.

These days if you give any idiot a web cam and a mic they immediately become a savant. Hell companies like Deel and Lavender are banking their entire GTM strategy on this.

A lot of the decent content out there (LinkedIn, podcasts, written) have really taken a nosedive IMO. This space feels so fucking saturated and it’s evident that just about any dickhead can claim they’re an expert.

She posts daily about how to prospect better, cold call stronger, etc. but then shares that only 5 of her 25 Q4 CWs were outbound. I would give up Guac for a quarter to get 80% inbound closes in my full-cycle role. Moral of her story- Be the only AE at your company, have a strong marketing stream, close inbounds, and post about your life to prove how little you actually work. Sign me up!

It looks like she did a kick ass job of marketing herself and building a solid social media platform. Regardless of whether or not I agree with her, her method to get to where she is worked. We could all use lessons on that!

I mean im jealous as hell like why tf can’t I find a job like that. If I was proud of my title and where im at I feel like I’d try to make content too. It does feel like LinkedIn is a small group of like 50. She’s popular bc she’s anti-toxic positivity that you usually see on LinkedIn like :

Why aren't more of you in sales starting your own businesses instead of spending all of your time making money for someone else. I'll never understand why experienced and successful sales people continue giving away all of their time and resources to a corporation when they could be doubling their income working on their own.
