Anyone ever had amazing inside sales support, then just lost it completely? How do you cope? Do you just pick yourself up by your bootstraps!?!? do you panic and make excuses to your manager? Do you cry, weep, mourn..?

How did you lose your support? The reason why would inform next steps I could give. If the company scaled back...that's an issue. If you lost a really good colleague to another role, that's a different (but hopefully temporary) issue.

Sounds like a nice reactionary move by the CEO. It makes sense to go ahead and let you management know that based on the move you'll be spending more time on lead gen before which might impact the health of your current pipeline. Doesn't mean you phone it in, but often time management needs to be reminded that priorities actually shift when they make big changes like this.
