Need some quick advice

I have been self employed after a short stint at a startup Q3-Mid Q4 of last year. That was a solid gig but they were a little messy and lost a lot of their US staff, if not all of them (myself included). Since September I have been running my own little web design business with ok results, I use developers that I hire on platforms like Upwork and some out of Latin America and have had some success but tbh the contracts have been few and far from each other. I would like to keep working on this but want a full time job that I can leverage to not be hand to mouth financially anymore (all my savings are drained and its been tough).

I have over five years of experience in sales ranging from logistics to business loans but not that much in tech other than the role I had as an Account Manager last year at that start up. I signed up for tech sales U today and will like any advice in how I can find that role where I can bring my experience forward but also learn.

I thank you guys in advance, this was also a half rant lol.

Your websites, if not deeply niched in an industry with a problem that they specifically solve, will forever be on a minimal yield. Crowded space that's just getting more and more specialized.
However, if you know websites and retail marketing, there are many opportunities in that space in account management. Every agency needs someone who can work a CMS, respond to support tickets, and upsell existing clients. Maybe have a peak in that direction.

Is there a reason you're not looking into sales where you have experience already?
Also - you may want to take a look at @Gasty's recent post about who's hiring. There are some CSM roles in addition to AE/SE roles. Those might be easier to slide into.
