Nicest way to say something not so nice?

What's up, sales fam?

I have a customer who is a pain in the ass to work with. Whenever we think we've "finalized everything" he makes additional requests that should've been asked months ago.

What's the nicest way to tell him "We are capped out on any additional asks" or something of that nature?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

If wishes were horses, beggars could ride.

Tell them they can take the package or you will be happy to create a new one with updated pricing.

I see NO point in masking anything you have to say to a client. So long as you are not being downright vulgar, here's my take: say what you mean and mean what you say.

Just start accusing them of sexually harassing you. "I understand you want another demo sir but this is starting to feel like sexual harassment. Can we move forward with the docusign? I'd rather not have my lawyers involved..."

Remind them that you have already gone at bat for XYZ and then tell them straight up that they're capped out. Honesty goes a long way.

Draw a line. After this, the product (or whatever) team will not be able to make changes until a future PI.

You're on the right track. Is this a current customer or a pure prospect account? If they're a prospect, you need to consider the pain in the ass factor vs the deal size and make a determination.

If they're a prospect and it's a small deal, you may want to break up with them. There are plenty of fish in the sea (presumably, unless you're desperate).

If it's a big deal or they're a client, I think you can be blunt. Pass the bucket of shit and paint yourself as a middleman. "We want to do what we can to earn your business Mr. Prospect, but I can only go back to the well with legal/product/managment so many times before they tell me no. This is our best and final offer"
