anyone seen open rates drop significantly? was at 80%+ before March 28 then dropped dramatically to ~10% since. hard to diagnose the problem since I can't actually see where the email is delivered

How about if we send the first email, basic, short, and not even close to it being a salesy email with a personalised subject line. It'll pass through. Right? Then we continue with the sequence? If 1 email goes, chances are all the others will go too until flagged by the user. What do you think? Please correct me if I am wrong.

@Gasty think that would be a good strategy barring they dont unsubscribe based off that email. Think they call those types of email "primers" haha

Gmail made some stricter rules for their firewalls, if you're on outreach or salesloft many are also feeling this same pain. Not sure of the solution as usually it has to do with the servers that mail is being sent from.

Exactly, better off going old school from gmail or outlook. And if you do salesloft or similar, maybe try turning off the tracking? Might help with the firewall triggers.
Also something I learned, dont put sales type words in the emails or they get flagged, likewise, dont do more than 25 emails out to a specific domain/company/organization you will get blocked or flagged also.

Hear me out, these new rules will make good sellers jobs easier. The spray and prayers will be firewalled and blocked the intentional outreach with even a glimpse of effort will show through

I agree - Iโm literally getting no opens from prospects that Iโve already had ongoing convos with. Iโll turn off tracking now and see if that helps

We actually had a short period of getting blocked from sending emails because someone went over the threshold (2k in a day I think) and they were just bccing all the contacts. So I suppose personalize more and just write better emails.

Yeah weโre on outreach and itโs legit terrible now. If I send messages out of sequence from Gmail they get better tracking than they do from outreach
