Panel speaker on implementing AI into sales processes

In a few weeks I am a guest panelist at a sales forum (my first time doing something like this!), discussing "practical AI experiences, including the good and the bad... what they would done differently and what has been the significant lessons learned to date."

Does anyone have any stories/advice they'd be happy for me take on board for my discussions?

In my limited experience, I like to use AI as a co-pilot to glean information on a "stock" follow up or information relating to people's different roles and what they're focused on. Then I can personalize it to feel more authentic and it's not a robot.

At this point, it seems like AI is better served as a co-pilot than the driver.

Curious how everyone else is using it.

Have you dove into the SalesGPT here? Maybe playing around with that and sharing your feedback and experience would be good

Check out the payments panel from the Citi Ventures FinTech conference from yesterday. They definitely recorded it.

Agree with HVAC and here are some good SGPT insights on it!

Based on what Bravado members have mentioned, AI assistance is expected to come quickly as the technology behind it is improving rapidly and there is a lot of money involved in sales. However, it is important to note that sales will always be a people game, and AI will only aid salespeople rather than replace them entirely. While AI may help with leaving voicemails and expedite dialing, it cannot replace the complex interactions that humans crave. Instead, AI can simplify 20-30% of an SDR's daily workload which could eventually lead to overall layoffs. The best way to protect yourself from being replaced by AI is to focus on developing your interpersonal skills and customer empathy. Companies are claiming to have AI solutions, but many of these claims are just marketing terms. At present, AI-based tools seem to be all the rage, but it is unlikely that they will completely replace human salespeople anytime soon.
