PIP after Mat/Pat Leave

Has anyone experienced a PIP following a leave of absence? I was put on a PIP 6 weeks after returning from leave and it feels as if I am being pushed out for having a baby.

I am fighting to beat it, but SLED so these deals are not a quick turnaround. Any advice or opinions would be great.

I was put on a pip the day I got back from paternity leave at my last job...

it was complete and utter bullshit as I was the top performer before I left for 4 weeks... I just used it as a paid job search.

Though with the PIP 6 weeks after the leave they may be able to get enough 'legal' ammunitions to remove you without giving you much of a leg to sue with...

Always the tough part about sales, can have all the effort in the world and if it's not ink they can pretend it doesn't exist.

I still think that given how soon after the leave ended this was initiated there's a lot of potential to cause issues they'd want to avoid.

Depends. How long is the PIP - 4 weeks? Will it be if you don’t hit your quarter you are out? There are a lot of variables that go in here, and depends on the package that is offered at the end.

If I default on a boat, I can recover. If I can’t feed my kid or put a roof over their head…we are in a different world of consequences.

I will sell my soul to provide. I wouldn’t do the same for an S6.

I was pregnant with my first, super close to due, when I was let go (dotcom crash). It’s never a good time, but hopefully you’ll get something even better, because getting a PIP right now is brutal.

Are you male or female and how long did you take off after having the kid? Were you producing before on the pip? Small or large company? Above quota now/ regularly?
Without above info my guess is you’re a guy who took off a long ass time and they prob see you are home more and less engaged. Also assume you are not hitting quota. With at will employment they can pretty much fire you for any reason or no reason at all. While it sucks. I don’t doubt you are getting this bc of the kid but is no real way to prove it. Guessing your manager doesn’t have kids either?
Also agree w others contact the Dan guy.
