PLG or outbound building pipe?

Am I the only one reading too much into it or is it actually correct?


That everytime there's talk of downturn or recession or longish sales cycle or whatever you want to call it, the narrative suddenly shifts to Outbound Sales, Build Pipeline, Pick up the Phone.


And PLG starts crying like a baby.

The article is lazy. Itโ€™s a โ€œwell,duhโ€ type argument.

Pipeline is king in sales and it doesnโ€™t matter how you fill - inbound or outbound. And if your team only relies on inbound, when things get tough itโ€™s gonna suck.
