Prospect Ghosting, but I have their calendly link.

Had a great call with a prospect and created a great use case.

They wanted to connect internally, had some follow up questions, but are now ghosting. No response for 2 weeks.

We have a fairly short sales cycle of less than 60 days.

I have the point of contact's calendly link. should I book a time or would that be too intrusive?

2 weeks isn't that long. Spring breaks, vacations, other priorities, etc. Your avg sales cycle may be 60 days from your POV, but not theirs. Give it some time.

Time to be a little critical, was the call really great or could you be just hearing what you want to hear.

Unless they said lets connect the week of x, I am not throwing an invite out.

However, if you manager needs to to close it now and is on your ass maybe say "I saw they were free Tuesday at 3pm when looking at their calendar, would you be opposed to me throwing a calendar at that time?"

No call actually went really well. Even had a verbal that they wanted to pilot.

My boss is kind of on my ass about it hahaha.

I have done this and it worked out for me and got the conversation restarted.. but I wouldn't do it usually however this was a situation in which I felt it wouldn't backfire.

I would not toss a meeting on their calendly. Feels intrusive.

How many times have you followed up since the call?

Spring break, life, etc. 2 weeks isn't crazy. Keep calling/emailing every 3-4 days.

Yeah I’m cool with waiting, my boss is just riding me about it.

If you have their link, I would drop a 15 or 30 minute catch up. That way, they can tell you no or give you more time (ie - not yet)

Is there any sense of why they might be ghosting or no? I think adding a meeting to their calendar will turn them off, but if they're ghosting, it could be better than doing nothing. At least you'll get a response.

Not sure on why they might be. My intuition is just busy time of year for client.

Inserting yourself into their schedule may be off-putting. I wouldn't do it. As much as it's frustrating to be ghosted, I wouldn't be that aggressive. Personally, it would turn me off and question if I want to work with someone who felt comfortable doing this. Calendly links should only be used if there has been previous permission offered in my opinion.

Honestly, I say throw it on. If the decline or reschedule or accept you know where you stand.

Why not, give it a shot, never give up a tiny little chance!

If they're ignoring you booking a calendly meeting probably isn't the best, but you can see when they have open calendar blocks and try calling them
