Re-engaging old clients

I took a new role selling to an industry I previously sold to. I've been out of this industry for a few years now and was curious what approaches have worked best for others in this position to re-engage with old clients and/or leverage previous successes.

Just reach out to them. It’s not like you were ghosting them. A simple “hey contact, been a while. How are you doing?” goes a long way.

It's never wrong to get in touch, actually you should have a way better advantage than the others to sell them again, if you had built a strong relationship back in the old days with em or at least if they had a good experience with you and your product before.
