Job searching sucks. And these impersonal emails sting. The reality is your resume was probably never seen by a real person though. Or if it was seen (probably by some low level HR weenie), it was too briefly to be actually read - just scanned for key words.

Networking is the key to not getting these emails. If its a job you REALLY want, you need to make the extra effort to contact the HM/DM. Don't let those HR weenies get you down!

To that point - disregard that autoresponder if you're really interested in the role/company, and reach out directly to the hiring manager. Odds are high they never saw your CV.

Sadly that's the case, believe that nobody here didn't receive that email at least once before including me, lol.
Besides that you need to move forward you need to most importantly ask for the reasons why your application was not considered just to be able to verify whether it was actually you or it was unjustified.
And I believe you would soon realize that it wasn't really you so that you don't have to feel sad about it.
And even if you found out it was you, in that case at least you managed to learn something from it as there's nothing wrong for someone to keep learning something new every day.
Eventually, that would definitely let you do better at the next times!
