This deal took about 2 months tip to tail. Two non-profits merged to form 1 super organization and this jump to a big non-profit came with some robust problems they needed robust solutions for around data protection.
We came in recommended by their AE from a company whos product we integrate with, this warm intro, along with a great demonstration made us jump straight to procurement. After a couple weeks of silence as they wrapped up a major project pulling them away we got our order executed.
Moral of this story, strike while the iron is hot but dont smother your prospects.
