Salesforce Roles - is this more junior or senior to my previous role?

Hi Guys,

I am in the midst of a salesforce interview process for a Mid-Commerical High Tech AE role and wanted to understand from anyone familiar with salesforce where this role lives in terms of tenure/experience/pay.

currently have a field enterprise role which is about 5 steps up from a junior AE out of college at around a 140/200k Ote.

would love to understand if I am moving into a more junior role or if the cash is there - does it matter?

Dude SFDC has so many damn titles. When you read one you think it's better than another, but it ain't. Clear as mud. 😆

go with the money and where you feel the opportunity is greatest that aligns with your needs/wants

Find out what the cash is first. Also, the SFDC recruiters can point you at other open roles if you aren't a fit for what they're hiring for or if they know of openings that might be better. Hiring managers will do the same.

Just did a quick search on LI, someone with that title was out of college for 10 years and at SFDC for 4. Dont this its a Jr AE...however, I would be surprised if it pays a 140k base

for me, if the pay is better and the deals are what you want then it doesnt matter if its "more junior"
