A deal that spilled over from EOY 2023. What did I do different?

While I always promote speed. It seemed that this company doesn't care about it they actually told me that the timeline so they'd be ready to use our services would be 4 weeks to 6. While I usually say hey you can use it in 4 days, I went the other route. I said actually if you already like our product it's about time to put in the deposit and let's sign the contracts because it takes me also 4 to 6 weeks time.

In act of seriousness they paid the deposit. The ball is rolling and the contract is signed. Behold they already started adding some users too before the agreed time.

Lesson here...work with your champion and have the times synced because we all know that time is just a suggestion so if they are really serious they can sign a letter of intent or even pay the deposit. Which actually what the champion needed to hear. that it took us 6 weeks too so we need to pay them now so we'd be ready then.
