i feel like this is a BIG shift over the last like decade or so.
Before sales was all about trying to CONVINCE ppl they want to buy something.
Now prospects dont need sales to TELL them what they need. they figure that out and then need sales to help them buy, and help them better understand the product.

Jokes apart - I have never been asked to do such things but if they expect you to sell something, you will have to sell. Just that I will not sell it as a pen but a million dollar asset.

Yeees, that's why I wished to share it, as I had no good answer for it.
Hand them a piece of paper, take their pen, and say 'Write your name down." - then they say. "I don't have a pen" - Boom. Supply and demand.
