Setting goals

I was exploring the bravado academy and came across an interesting article on parenting. What I found even more intriguing was that it wasn't only about parenting, it was what i would consider an article that hit the topics of quality of life and perspective.

It had a really cool section on OKR (objective and Key results) and how you can set realistic goals in personal and professional life so that you can be as successful as you possibly can and not sacrifice your sanity in process.

I have been noticing questions in the war room about goals and how unattainable they are and I thought whether your a parent or single this article is worth reading.

I was focused on "prospective" over "perspective".

The same as everyone else's intention, to help in anyway possible. Why?

Youโ€™re retired and your background is not analogous to most users here. Simply curious to understand what you want out of this forum.

Is this not a sales forum? Just because I'm retired doesn't mean I can't assist. Knowledge is power when used proactively. I have years of experience in management, prospecting, giving presentations, teaching how to give presentations, overcoming objection, identifying opportunities, coaching, mentoring, goal setting, objectives, achieving goals, projection, and the list goes on. In many of my responses I was transparent, giving your industry the respect that it deserves so I don't see why not having analogous experience is relevant. With all do respect.

Funny thingโ€ฆIโ€™m in your former industry now.

I wasnโ€™t meant to attack, I actually wanted to know what you want out of the community.

I'm just giving back any knowledge I have and an outlet to keep my skills sharpend, one never knows when you might be forced out of retirement.

Nothing wrong with being single by choice. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ I have read some of Brian Tracy, good read, how about Zig Ziglar or Jim Rohn both soild reads as well.
