How do you sleep??

Disclaimer: May have been asked already, but I didn't find a thread so here we are.


How many hours do you sleep on your average weeknight?


I used to be an 8 hour kind of guy, but recently cut to about 5-6 (midnight-1 am to 6am) and actually find myself feeling fresher, more energized, and clearer, mentally. Just lost track of time a couple nights and went to bed late, and then found I actually felt better the next day and stuck to it.


How long do you sleep, and what are some tips that help you sleep/feel better?

Although, speaking as a former EMT, some saline and D50 almost accomplish the same thing. lol

I remember one time my parents were visiting my family here in Colorado and my mom was getting bad altitude sickness and dehydration and my medical director at the time let me take home an IV setup and some regular saline. 20 min later she was right as rain.ย

Usually going for 5-6...but many times it is more in the 4-5 range. ๐Ÿ˜ด

You don't need more than 4-5 hours. Go look at sleep patterns of successful people. Sleep gets in the way of getting things done. No matter the day/night before I am always up at 5am. It's my personal time. No kids. No wife. No job. Just me, some meditation/workout, scroll twitter for news highlights.ย
