Something new actually happened while at the hotel...

I'm sitting in my hotel tonight, nothing new about that, and I hear "stuff" from the room next to mine. At first I thought they were just having a bit of hotel fun and I just smirk. It happens, not for the first time. Good for them.

Then I hear the girl say "I want to die, I want to die, I want to die..." I mute the TV and I hear more stuff I don't like. I hear the bathroom door slam a couple times. I hear the guy yelling "shut up, I just want to go to sleep". This goes on for an hour. I thought about knocking, but instead I finally call the front desk. Better to have some Security-ish people handle this.

20min later the Manager knocks at my door and I fill him in.

He then knocks at their door. The woman has been in hysterics the entire time. The Manager leaves, i hear more yelling, and less than 10min later there's knock at their door again. I pop my head out and there's 4-5 cops there. They go into the room and escort the couple out.

Long story short - she was coming off a drug trip in a bad way. I talk to 2 of the cops who hung around. They found some pills and other items in their room.

I've been doing this awhile and this is the first time this has happened.

"I want to die, I want to die, I want to die..."
It summarizes very well how I feel every single day when I have to go to work. In sales we trust.

Joking aside, that sounds pretty insane. Damn.

Oh damn! Great that you called the front desk.

This literally sounds crazy! Luckily it was just a bad โ€œtripโ€. Couldโ€™ve been a lot worse.

Craziest shit that happened to me is leaving my room to knock on my neighbors door to turn down their music at 3amโ€ฆand getting locked out. Slept in the hallway because the front desk person was nowhere to be found.

This is why I hate NYC.

I had to call security at a major hotel before for domestic violence. You did the right thing.

Prospect agreed to meet but declined due to personal leave. He told me he'd let me know when he returned to the office, this was in November
