Sorry but I can't

Hello!

I think many read my post about the two people who had to leave the purchasing team due to the company's reorganization. For this reason, I was encouraged to create a post about what happened and my decision.

First of all, it was made on Friday at the end of the afternoon... I decided to fight for my team, I told my boss that everyone in the area was valuable people, who did their job with dedication and excellence. That I tried for days to find some determining factor and that turned out to be impossible, I showed them my analysis of metrics and told them that everyone on the team is essential and does their job.

My boss responds that he would "look at"... I know, it sounds like he will make the decision... but I still have hope that my voice will be heard. hopefully, maybe two jobs were saved (or maybe I lost mine... I'll keep it updated in the comments)

I don't think anyone blames you or that your job is at risk, since what you say shows that you took your time analyzing the information and the result is simply not conclusive.

I think I speak for a lot of colleagues when I say that I wish I had a boss who stands up for me and appreciates the work I do every day. I would love to know how this story ends and cheer up you did the right thing.
