Happy Sunday Savages,
I posted last week about some of the growing pains I've been experiencing at the startup I work at. Thanks to everyone for the useful comments, this is exactly why I keep coming back to this site - we're all here to grow and get more savage each day.
To that point, I wanted to share a really good read I found this morning from Farnam Street (which you should definitely check out if you haven't already - I'm in no way affiliated but it's a fresh, holistic take on business where Shane Parrish interviews incredibly successful and interesting people, not just on "how they got good at business" but more generally their insightful life experiences).
Anyway, it's a commencement speech from David Foster Wallace (author of Infinite Jest) about the importance of realizing that you're not, in fact, the center of the universe. Before I destroy his message with my much weaker command of words I'll sign off - the transcript and recording are both available at the link. I'll leave it to you to find what it means and how to apply it to your daily life.
