Using a drawing tablet in your sales demo

Hey guys,

just a quick question - has anyone used drawing tablet & something like Microsoft Whiteboard SW to quickly explain some of the more technical details of the software you're demoing?

Or it could be used for note-taking for a customer while in the demo and kind "collaborating" with the customer to highlight important requests/pains/etc.

Anyone got experience with this?

I've used a similar feature that Zoom has built into their software. Easy to quickly draw out someone's infrastructure map and highlight where you can sit/what you can do to solve challenges.

do you find it distracting to do while in a call? Would you say it focuses the customer more on the value props? Did you get any feedback from customers on it?

I'm kinda imagining it could be positively reinforcing key value props I have for the software I'm selling...

It's not distracting if you make it a part of your demo/process. Tell them you're going to illustrate where you will fit in their stack--and allow them to take the wheel and draw things out for you. It can be a fantastic value driver, in the right situations.

I've tried, but never really felt like it's worked like I expected. Our company has some good networking diagrams that I usually reference instead... I also have terrible hand writing, can't draw and can barely spell so less of a chance of me embarrassing myself.
