This deal came to me through our affiliate channel. They had added a bunch of users to their trial account & I was having trouble getting in touch with any of them via email or phone. I then reached started reaching out on LinkedIn and ended up getting in touch with the decision maker. We only communicated on LinkedIn messaging for the remainder of the sales cycle.
They were testing our tool & a competitors tool. Every time we spoke they always made it sound like they were going to go with the competitor, but I was always able to meet her concerns with our how tool is superior. It ended up coming down to pricing as we were more expensive than the other tool they were testing. To get the deal in as quickly as possible and avoid any other objections from coming up, we agreed to match the competitors pricing and they signed that week!
