We worked with a partner on this one & prior to the client trialing our product, the partner gave the client a pricing estimate. Unfortunately, the partner underestimated the cost quite a bit. So, after the client got all excited about the tool, I had to break the news to them that the cost would be about three times what the partner said. Luckily they were excited enough about the tool that they went back to their management team for the higher cost & received approval!
Next step - Retrain this partner on our pricing models... ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
