I once was an Enterprise BDR prospecting for $1m ACV deals with F500 companies and my AE would show up with 0 prep for companies like EXXON and bomb the disco. Drove me insane.
That's awful.

I've never known rage like that before. VP was hell bent on hiring people with industry experience but not sales experience and he got what he asked for

This one AE REALLY pissed me off. This was a few years ago. He closed a huge deal earlier in the day and went out to celebrate. I had scheduled him a demo for 4pm later that same day. I get a message at 3:55pm from him telling me to move the meeting because he was too drunk. Unbelievable.
Not showing up for calls, showing up unprepared for calls. Gate keeping their territory and not attributing deals that I was working and claiming it as his own.

Coming in unprepared and then tossing the lead for the meeting to the specialist or the SC without warning.
Here are a few gems from my last SDR role:
- Openly playing a game on his phone while on the call with a client
- Asking me for notes from my qualification call (that I shared as soon as I booked it) 5 minutes into the meeting
- Rejecting a face-to-face meeting with a decision-maker at a strategic account because their timeframe was outside 12 months (1-2 year sales cycle)
To put things in perspective, this was ice cold Enterprise outbound in a region where my company had zero market awareness. Getting any meeting was incredibly difficult
