What kind of benefits do you negotiate with a company if you plan to stay long term?

When you're negotiating your compensation/benefits with a company it's easy to focus on the short term gains. What if you see this is a company where people usually stay longer and you are also aiming at the mid/long term: what benefits do you consider useful to negotiate since the beginning?

- Cover 100% of my premium for healthcare or 100% of my HSA premium plus contribute to it monthly. - match up to 6% 401k - cash out PTO - Fitness reimbursement I’ve tried to get someone to match my student loan payments but haven’t got that done yet. Still working on it.

I ask for a golden toilet and a butler named Alfred that wipes my ass on demand. That should be standard at any company.

You could ask for structured base/comp increases every x amount of years. Take with a grain of salt as it really depends on the organization and the end goal.
