Herman Miller Aeron is fantastic, they are extremely easy to find on office re-sale sites for 50% off for a chair that's pretty much as good as new. Get the size C and as many adjustment options as possible. Then watch a few videos about how to get the adjustments just right. It's worth it.
That being said it's pricy, still probably in the $600 range for a used one from an office furniture liquidator.

I'm not 100% certain as I am not 6'4" and I am only 5'8" so I don't need to be picky.

Really enjoying my ikea rolling chair that I got at the start of the brave new world. Hasn’t broken, is comfy…only downside is it doesn’t slide under my desk. Wide 🍑, wide seats.
This might be a bit controversial depending on your point of view but I absolutely love my gaming change at home way more than in the office and I got it on sale at Staples.
I finally got a proper chair a few weeks ago from Staples, ~$350 CAD.
But I'm 5'10" so would fit in most. It's definitely worth getting something that works for you, hope you can do so without breaking the bank.

I just bought a Haworth Fern and love it. I'm 6'2 and about 220 for reference. It's ~$1200 depending on the options you choose for it
I absolutely needed this post today. I went to sit in my chair last Friday & ended up on the ground. Turns out one of the legs had completely snapped off. In the market for a new one because this makeshift office chair is killlllling my back
I feel your pain. At a previous employer, the chairs the architect selected for our new office were pathetic. I had over a dozen bent or broken chairs piled in a closet before I left.

I have had a lot of luck with an Ikea chair. The Markus I believe. I think it's rated for at least 250# and hasn't let me down in 5 years of ownership.

Chair quality is good, but given your height, monitor and desk height are more important. Raise monitor or laptop and adjust desk height so that your arms rest on the chair’s armrest and reach keyboard without the need for rising shoulders
Have you ever tried a kneeling chair? I got one a while back and it's been one of my best investments in recent memory. Forces me to have good posture and pretty much eliminated the lower back soreness I get from sitting too long
I never have. Do your knees get sore?
