Why Email Is Not Dead, But You Might Be

Next steps were going to be a phone call if nothing happened with email, but there's always something to be said for letting people know why it might be worth their time to speak with you.


  • What do you offer that is relevant to them
  • Why should they care?
  • Share specific numbers.
  • Save the fluff for the porn industry. (don't add that to your outreach, LOL)
  • Nobody cares that you are a team player, or your colleagues loved you.
  • Talk about your outcomes and make them relevant to what others need.

Interviewing is still hard. There are no guarantees anything will work out. But even these days the best interviewer v the most experienced interviewer can still win.

It's always good to make the call/contact to the recruiter in charge to keep you posted with your status just not to waste anyone's time here if there was a delay at their end.
If we pass then they'll let us know what's next if not,then it's time to seek somewhere else!

Yeah, this is the way. Getting to a DM and showing you can research and find the right person shows that you can do that in the job setting as well and it really is half the battle
