Next steps were going to be a phone call if nothing happened with email, but there's always something to be said for letting people know why it might be worth their time to speak with you.
- What do you offer that is relevant to them
- Why should they care?
- Share specific numbers.
- Save the fluff for the porn industry. (don't add that to your outreach, LOL)
- Nobody cares that you are a team player, or your colleagues loved you.
- Talk about your outcomes and make them relevant to what others need.
Interviewing is still hard. There are no guarantees anything will work out. But even these days the best interviewer v the most experienced interviewer can still win.
