For those of you who have done both, which do you prefer?

For those who have only done one or the other or neither, which do you think you'd like best?

the perfect scenario is building a sales org, at a company with an established product and support infrastructure. Most of the pain in building at a startup is there is legit NO SUPPORT to be had, and its generally more about things outside of selling that take up all of your time.ย  Me personally, I love building the processes, structure, strategy, everything.ย  Sales optimization is easy, anyone can come in and turn a few nobs and levers in a shitty selling org to show ROI, but to take something from nothing, to awesome is the ultimate chess game.ย

That is a really good point, I guess the third option would be something in the middle. Building something in a company where there is support infrastructure and an established product.

Building from scratch is very exciting for me. It brings out my entrepreneurial side, for sure.ย
