Yep, me too. Although for customer-facing meetings, I'm always prepared to go on camera.

This is the only correct answer. I won't initiate it, but feels awkward just leaving the client there.

The client does the same sometimes. I have a puppy and I keep turning off my camera whenever she comes onto me. The client does the same then. HAHAHA it's funny.

I join with mine on. If they've been on more than 30 seconds and dont have it on and havent mentioned being in the process of turning it on, Ill turn mine off. 90% they turn theirs on when they see mine on.

I prefer it on so they see a face with the name, especially if itโ€™s a smaller Meeting. But larger meetings I usually have it off so they canโ€™t see me not paying attention.

I like it when prospects have video on so I can see reactions, but I can't really control that.
I usually join client-facing with it on, and then will shut it off during a demo. Or if they have theirs off.
I think it's good to give them a face to associate with my name/voice.

Yeah, I shut mine off during a demo when I'm sharing content as well. It helps with focus.

When I'm pitching I look for non-verbal queues. I feed off them. If it's internal, it doesn't matter.

I love to ask. I usually keep mine on for the first couple of minutes at the very least if Iโ€™m presenting. Otherwise, I just turn it off

Client meeting, start with it on and if they dont switch I turn it off. I dont ask a client to turn it on since they are probably not "camera ready"

Oof it depends for sure. Generally, if I enter with camera on and everyone is off, I just leave it on. If I enter it with cam off and everyone is on, I turn it on
