3.5ish hour in-person interview/presentation??

Hey everyone. Today I was invited to a final stage interview in office. The first hour is interviewing with two senior managers. The second hour is interviewing with two VPs. The last 30-45 minutes I have to present anything I would like to 8 to 10 people with a Q&A session afterward to see my presentation ability.  Is this normal? This seems like a lot especially after 3 rounds via phone/teams already.

Entirely unnecessary for a BDR titled role. Sounds like your function is prospect and you wouldn't close anything due to lack of PMF.

WOW that sounds intense! the idea of doing a number of interviews in a row is not crazy. but each interview being 60 minutes seems excessive. Also, doing a presentation, not crazy. But to 8-10 ppl??? thats crazy haha.

I’ve only had a similar format of this presentation once in my job search and it felt a bit aggressive IMO

What role and company size is this? AE? I never had such an intensive one but I work for a small company.

The title is BDR. However, the pay and responsibility description seems to align more stereotypically with an AE or territory sales manager. Roughly 150 employees total. 5 person sales team.

Red flag to me. Inexperienced leadership if nothing else. Unless they’re paying you 4x what you’d low key accept id spend the time finding a company with their shit together

I believe AWS has a similar process. I think it’s called the loop? You end up spending 5-6 hours with multiple teams, all while incorporating their dumb 14 leadership principles into your answers for every question/scenario they ask you about.

Only 3.5 hours? Must be for a junior role. 😉😉

Wait till you get to spend a full day with them and after 3 hours you start answering the same questions all day long.

This looks insane. Presenting in front of 8-10 people? How does that help them figure out if you`re a good fit.. seems super odd and probably a trailer for a bad movie..

That was my thought..they also asked me to come in Jan 4. So I would need to ask for a PTO day the first week after the holidays on a Wednesday and prepare a presentation over the holiday break. Idk. Seems worse the more I think about it haha
