Advice on outreach on Linkedin?

I've yet to book a meeting through LinkedIn.

I get a decent amount of connections but I feel like the SDR title scares prospects away. Our Director books plenty of meetings through LI and I'm wondering if it's because of his title.

What should I be doing on LI to book meetings?

What are you saying vs what are they saying?

Most likely because of their title. Have you connected with your director to see what they are doing differently?
I feel like LinkedIn has slowed down big time since covid. It used to be my #1 place booking stuff, and I havent in awhile

Yeah, we spoke about it a few times. I actually copywrite most of our outreach content.

So he's using the same content you are, but getting better results?
Will they let you change your title on LI for this purpose? Or maybe that's shady (?).
I think LI got completely saturated during Covid, when people weren't at their desk phones and that vanished as an avenue for connecting, so everyone went to LI. Now it's too noisy.

And many don't check it as often anymore. The influencers get exhausting.

Confirm. Maybe 1x/week, and even then I get crazy outreach.

i would totally see what the director is doing differently than you.

alot of the times, its the combo of LI, call and email that gets it done.

Sent a few emails, had a conversation on the phone but didnt set the meeting, followed up via linked in and got it done.

Omg I love LinkedIn, best channel for outreach by far these days.

Three pieces of advice:

1) Catfish - I used to use my AEs LinkedIn when I was an SDR to get more connects, & even just used my CEs LinkedIn to follow up from an event

2) Keep it text length & make it easy to respond - I use โ€œhey xxxx, interested in a swag box?โ€ & itโ€™s worked 10000x better than a long, personalized email

3) In sales nav use the โ€œjust changed jobs in the past 90 daysโ€ filter, absolute gold mine

& controversial but if you need to add fake info to your LinkedIn profile to get more responses, by all means do it, as long as youโ€™re not using it to lie in a job search.

Happy hunting!

Try to include Partnerships rather than sales in your title.
