So many things are wrong with this. 
For starters, he should have been well aware that the discount wasn't to be held up for ALL of the renewal contracts that he was going to engage in. 

They still received Hubspot at a 74%(!!) percent discount for three years. Whether you think that's overpriced or not, still insane. 

CRM renewal should be pretty high on a companies priority list. It’s critical to running their ships engine, yet they let it come at last minute without doing any looking around. 

Lastly, Agorapulse raised their own prices 2.5X! Being naive and a hypocrite is a shitty combo. 

It probably was bad communication on HubSpot’s side, but he’s still definitely in the wrong here, imo.

I just wonder what he’s trying to gain from this post? He just made sure I would never consider Agorapulse (whatever they do) for 2 reasons;

1- Those are a crazy amount of spelling mistakes which makes me thing that the guy running the company is very impulsive, he got upset and wrote this up in a rage and blasted it out to his network.

2- Not realizing he gets that discount for 3 years and then has to pay full price makes me think he is not very good with the finer details.

Whatever they do, that’s not someone that I would choose to do business with

Anybody else surprised at the “75% discount?” I sell software and hardly ever go over 10% off our standard pricing…
I know many sales teams sell like 40% discounted deals but 75% seems insane unless they were leveraging this customer for case studies and logo use or something.
