Any advice on how to best answer the β€œTell me a little about yourself” question during a sales interview? πŸ€”

Always seem to flunk this question..

I always refer to the following formula:
Present:Β Talk a little bit about what your current role is, the scope of it, and perhaps a big recent accomplishment. Past:Β Tell the interviewer how you got there and/or mention previous experience that’s relevant to the job and company you’re applying for. Future:Β Segue into what you’re looking to do next and why you’re interested in this gig (and a great fit for it, too).

They're not really looking for you to talk a ton, they're looking to see how humbly you can brag and carry a conversation.Β
