Anyone else out there trade? I'm into options myself, I was doing phenomenal this year until I broke my rules and had my ass handed to me twice. I'm red for the year but should be able to get green again.

When I first started it was definitely more like gambling. But I do want it to be my primary gig, so I've been studying and researching and the style I'm trading can be done while I work my sales job. The trade is set by 8:30 and the rest of the day I just monitor it and step in if I need to.
Now my approach is more risk management than anything else. I had some big losses but I know exactly what I should have done to prevent them and take the small loss instead.
The trades I enter have a >90% probability of making me X, the 1 in 10 that go against me will lose me 3X if I stick to my rules.

I do 0 DTE Options on the SPX and set up a 90% Iron Condor. DM me and I can send you some links to articles I found helpful. I'm not a teacher so take it all with a grain of salt! But I like them.
