Had a difficult conversation with some upper management. I get paid well below the market average, and don't earn commission on my sales. My numbers have been out of the park, and each month I put up more sales at better margin than both of my sister branches combined.
Asked the boss for essentially an "inflation adjustment" since rising prices and market uncertainty have been killing me, and that I have the numbers to back up a little more compensation. Didn't expect a huge 10k bump, just something around 3-3.5k to help with cost of living.
Boss ruminates for 3 weeks, calls me up, and offers me an extra $150 a month on my *taxable* car allowance.
Feels good man. Bag secured.
