Bait and Switch?

Anyone ever join a company thinking you were getting territory A. Then your first day get a call from the VP that you're getting territory B? how did you handle it? all my former contacts, companies, leads are in territory A and I was going to hit the ground running but now I feel like I'm starting over. not to mention I just found out that this territory has had 7 reps in 2 years whereas the other one has been solid....

Quit or embrace it and make the best. Take territory A and ask for referrals as you setup meetings for the owner of territory A and tell the AE and your manager you want 90% commission and rev. If the deny you quit. A bird in the and is better than 2 in the bush. Don’t give them any info if this until you get the agreement however you feel comfortable.
