Best tool for Account Mapping

Hey savages,

It's the New Year and I'm looking to be more organised. Keen for any recommendations for tools/apps/software that can be used for mapping out companies, subsidiaries, departments, contacts, etc.

Ideally:
- Simple and easy to use, such as drag and drop, with auto snapping into place
- Has good integrations (such as plugging into Slack so you can easily share with an SDR or fellow AE)
- Visual enough to create easy organisation charts

I don't mind spending some monies if it's valuable. I'm currently creating org charts in PowerPoint and then collaborating on Trello, which feels pretty disjointed.

I try to do most of this in Salesforce, that way all the info is in one place. It allows for nesting of accounts and building contact reporting structure.

I hear you, I can see how you can build it out, but there’s just so much noise when there’s a lot of outdated/wrong contacts in there. Also, no way of creating a visual breakdown of the hierarchy

We use Quip, it's relatively new to me so I don't have too much depth on it yet.

However it is intuitive, and looking at teammates maps who've been here longer, using it longer, it seems very useful.

For me it's LI SalesNav although it may not have quite the mapping or automation functionality it sounds like you may be looking for. But imo it constantly proves itself as the best source of data just requires a little extra effort.

Tools like zoomInfo and similar that try to build org charts often seem to have very incomplete or innaccurate data from wherever they scrape it.

You’re right with SalesNav being the best source without having to duplicate it. Zoominfo is horrible, maybe it’s an APAC thing..

Used to use SFDC but IMO if you aren't in the ENT space how much mapping is there to be done?

Only just kicked off my ENT role (15 months now), looking to get more strategic attacking these big wigs!
