I've never tried a gimmick, but it could be fun.
Usually it's just my home office or my car ("mobile office" is how I refer to it on demos) which have always worked just fine. The car demos lead to some good conversation.

I just blur the background, very boring
One of my partners uses a 'private jet' background & he says it always gets the best responses!
Thatโs a cool one. I use a basic home office one from Teams.

I'll go with a built in background or a company provided one. Boring I know, also part of it is industry dictated so I sadly can't have as many fun backgrounds on externals.
So I accidentally logged onto a Zoom call with this as my background after my birds lost the Superbowl...

LOL. I had a few customers that would change their background weekly. One rotated through 90s movies and it was a game of which movie this week. Another would use trending topics, like one was a picture of the Evergiven stuck in the Suez Canal
I like blurring my background thatโs it but this is quite innovative
