Anyone here with a diagnosed bipolar disorder?
I my self got the confirmation two-three years ago, just wondering what you do to stay stable? (besides meds etc)

This is a topic I have yet to see in this forum. I'm a long-term card carrying member of the ADHD club. And honestly, I use it to my advantage. I can't read a damn book, but while medicated, I can build decks, edit video, write GTM strategy, pitch at warp speed an knit while grilling.
Gotta be a way you can turn it into a strength.

I'm sure there are conditions that would be "revenue prohibitive," like.. say Tourette Syndrome. Otherwise, keep it managed and there is no reason to let it get in your way.

Though having an excuse to call a prospect a, "fuck ass bitch piss!" in a involuntary fit would be pretty awesome. Maybe they could be in a sales support role and you call them in for the "special" accounts.

My partner has severe bi-polar 1 so I can offer experience as a partner. She has persevered through regimented med use, but has to keep to a routine/manage her schedule religiously through organization/reminders etc. We’ve had lots of ups/downs but have been married 13 years, but she still struggles everyday. Exercise, diet and family/friend support is a big deal. She is also one of the smartest, most creative and witty people you’ll ever meet. Best to you on your journey, and use it like a superpower!!

Not bipolar but years ago I was diagnosed with PTSD. I don't think they were correct, they put me on meds which took me 5 years to wean off. I've been to therapists as recommended that didn't help and did massage therapy, was told those memories will just stay with me forever. I sleep and feel more like myself after coming off meds. I think I just process things differently.

I don’t deal with it myself but know 2 others that do. They seem to handle it well when they have an outlet to discuss it and a support network outside of medication
