Brand New Inexperienced AE Team

Aaalllright! First post as I've spent the first month here observing and learning so first off I have to say, I love this community!
Here's my situation I could really use some help & guidance on. I'm a director of North America in the Medical Equipment space (very new role) and I was given the opportunity to lead a team who are moving in Q1 to AE roles (Hunt) from an inside sales role (Farm) so I have time to prep.
What are some of your/the best resources & tools out there that you have worked with in the past or currently that could help my team start off strong in everything from cold calling, reach out campaigns & templates to structure & closing? (Sandler and Zoominfo are in the works which we've never used in our org, note* I am Sandler gold certified and use zoom already personally).
I apologize if I'm breaking any rules with my first post and appreciate any insight this community has!

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
It’s good to implement a sales methodology, even if it’s Sandler.

My recommendation is to put yourself in their shoes - what would you appreciate having day 1 in a new sales role.

Are they outside sales people (making calls in person within a geographic territory? Or are they still on the phone?

Welcome! First off I want to say that I've noticed a few of your comments and, combined with this post, I think you're a great addition to the War Room. Thanks for feeling things out before jumping in with both feet.

ZI and Sandler are a great spot. Have you thought about any tools for sequencing/automation, like HubSpot or Apollo? And what's the CRM situation?

I 100% agree with @pirate , and feel you need to make yourself available. Be the person they want to approach to grow and become better.

Best of luck!

Appreciate the comment and input! Definitely going to be available and actively listen to the best of my abilities.
CRM-wise we are a salesforce lightning shop with a few bells and whistles. We log activities, events, set tasks the whole gambit so it’s pretty structured albeit a bit much at times and it’s easy to get lost in all the data.
I’ll do some digging with sequencing/automation and see where that takes me!
Found some good things in the academy I’m researching so that’s a great resource as well!

New people don't what they're doing so just scheduling time to be available and calls where they show you back what they learned about tools or prospecting etc

this is solid advice even with the best planning you're still gonna miss out on a bunch of unkown unkowns but the first week or so having touch points will help you quickly figure out what those are

Appreciate the feedback! Actually hopped on a sales (discovery) call with one of my team members today. There’s plenty of room for improvement but she did a great job and surprised me.
