So mind me, I'm tipsy, but I just realized sales is like picking up girls at a lower rate. For example, I'm in college, and when I used to go out, I would approach women and would compliment a woman and try to ask for their contact info. They would say, " I have a boyfriend," most of the time. Now I reconstructed how I decided to pick up women.
Me - " Excuse me, there is a girl I like, but I don't know how to approach her and ask her out on a date."
Her - "Of course."
Me - " What do you usually like to do in your ( sports, tv shows, Netflix, other things I can't say? usually a five-minute convo, let the girl do the talking and don't mansplain )."
Her - " Wow, well, I did notice that she loves to wear [insert what she is wearing], and her name is [ her name]. Do you think I could get her number?"
Me- *Hands the phone* and make up an excuse to run away like a child (sometimes)
My rate of success went from 30 to 95 percent just by knowing them
Either way, the story's point is that if you word things the right way to get to know your client well enough, anything is possible in persuasion. Just learn how to express your product correctly. I'm going to regret this, I think.
