Paid quarterly in arrears. Longer sales cycle for myself, so no issue with it.

2 months after signature. It rocks. Close a deal a month, get paid every month basically.

Paid 90 days after implementation has completed and bonus on additional attachments qurterly, residual for 5 years on a declining scale.

My structure is way different from this. I've also, at all but one place, been paid when they pay to some degree.
every month with salary...would prefer a quarter as when i get the commission it goes straight out the window!

I get paid 3 pay periods following the close of the month. Horrible.
2 months after the Quarter closes. Paid based on signature date, not payment date. On several occasions admins have been delayed with "locking commissions down" and it has taken 3 months after Q closes to get paid.
I never would accept a job that doesn't pay monthly in Sales. Cashflow is important.
If you don't get paid right. Look for a side hustle like setting up a Stripe Payment System and making some real money in SaaS.
