Its whatever's available but likely Pfizer or Modera around here. Everyone I know has gotten Pfizer but Id take either one.
I go with the mentality of improving my health chances of 40% is still better than 0% so I'm not gonna be picky it was more to understand how they go around the world because some people made me feel like you go and get a menu of the jabs and choose.
NY/NJ updated their eligibility today. Finally eligible and get my first shot friday.ย

Not an anti vaxxer, but I will not be getting the vaccine. I don't get a flu shot either.ย
I'm almost positive I contracted COVID in late 2019 before it was declared a pandemic here, so I likely have antibodies. Also, as a young, healthy person I'm extremely low risk and the vaccine does nothing to prevent me from passing it on to someone else even if I do happen to get it. I don't see the point.
That said I support someone's right to decide and choose what's best for them and their health, be it getting or declining the vaccine.ย

I never and no one in my circle has ever got the flu shot. so I'm totally against the flu shot the only experience I heard from the flu shot were more harm than good.

I don't find it offensive, just wanted to clarify that I'm not passing on this vaccine because I'm against vaccines in general.ย

I am non-essential in FL so I don't expect I'll be lucky enough to get one for months. So many old people down here
I used to live in Ft Lauderdale and a bunch of my friends down there have been able to get it. They said a lot of people are still skeptical about it so pretty much anyone that wants one can get it now. Gave the tip to call your local publix and ask about expiring doses, they will give it away so it doesn't go to waste.ย
I was actually able to get one at the Walgreens down the street from me the same week they opened it up to everyone that was 18+ lol. No one in there on a Saturdayย

Not against it just waiting for a little more information to come out about the vaccine as my body is very sensitive and has many health issues. If my office requires me to have it, it will make me get it sooner but I think that it should be a personal choice of if you want to get it or not.ย

Got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine earlier this week. I know a bunch of friends who already got it and no one died so might as well rip the band aid off ๐ค๐คฃ
well congratulations man, any side effects? my cousins went to Dubai to get the Sinopharm one but they slept for staight 24hours they felt that they got hit by a train.
Minimal...my arm was sore for the last 2 days and feeling a little weird overall but towards the end of yesterday back to normal.ย
Rollout in Canada is slow so Iโm patiently waiting. I know some Med device reps in other areas were able to get vaccines through their accounts when they first rolled out

got the first moderna, second 1st week of april. NJ is only concerned with getting shots in arms at this point so if you can get an appointment they give it to you without asking what conditions you may have. My arm felt like it was going to fall off for two days but nothing other than that. I've heard the second one knocks you on your ass though
Ok the arm thing 1st I hear ir here. The KO feeling after the 2nd one sounds common too with as side effect with China jab sinopharm
My whole family has been vaccinated. There are seven of us adults. Everyone had the sore arm and two had minor headaches after the second. I on the other hand THOUGHT I WAS DYING! I got my second shot at 4:45pm and by 11:30am the next day I was dizzy, nauseous, incredibly achey, severe headache. I slept from 1pm to 5pm. I woke up and had dinner around 7pm and couldn't keep the dinner down. I was aware of every muscle and joint in my body. Just touching my skin hurt. Thankfully I went back to sleep at 8:30pm and woke up the next day as if nothing had ever happened. We are two weeks since then and I still feel wonderful and would do it all again if I had to. So glad that one day of misery will prevent me from hospitalization or death from COVID and I will be part of slowing the spread!ย
I'm based in Ireland so we have a slower rollout to those of you in the States, but I absolutely cannot wait to get it! I have a lot of traveling to do and a lot of family to see, the sooner everyone gets it, the better!ย
I guess there is slow rollout everywhere since the priority is 1st responders (medical) and seniors and people at risk. Then the rest of the populations.
Iโm in Canada and not on a priority list so I expectย ย it will be several more months before itโs my turn but I will definitely get it.ย

We don't have any production in Canada so we rely on other countries to supply and unfortunately that hasn't gone as planned

It really wasnโt bad! States in the SE have had a surplus it seems for months now regardless of your age or occupation. Feels nice to have it over and not have to worry about going out in public.ย
