Crushing it the day before Thanksgiving?

How's the day going for everyone? I've only been able to bring in one booking today, but it was with a decent mid sized account. Opportunity is something like 33k ARR.


Made something like 80 calls so far and only one answer. He was pretty blunt: "Look man, I'm trying to get stuff done before I head out for the day and not looking to buy anything." Tried to book him for after Thanksgiving, to which he repeated "We're not trying to buy anything right now."

I have a mix, some customers are pushing hard to close out the year and our demand has gone up for current projects meanwhile it is hard to get a commitment on prospective stuff and I will likely have to wait until Jan.

I am now stuck putting out lots of fires which is not a fun place to be.

Not going to lie, you have an outstanding menu planned. All my cooking is tomorrow - today is cussing out whoever packed the wine glasses incorrectly last time (sure wasn't me) and polishing silver. And trying to figure out how to set tables for 17 when I have 8 of one place setting and 7 of another. At least I have 2 kids I don't trust with the china coming, so the 15 plates work...but organizing it over three tables...

Really depends. I donโ€™t leave much voicemails to the new prospects but existing opps but I am sure to shoot an email after calling & sometimes I had the luck of getting a call back as well !
