Hell yeah...do it all the time. Customer referrals are the absolute best leads.
Indeed, and most established companies have a whole machine (process) for these. My last company had it built-in where any discounts applied automatically triggered language to be added that the customer would be a reference, unless we then negotiated to take it out. Most customers had no issue with that. One happy customer will help you land a dozen more.
