Story is that we have geo territories and then once we sell into a company it becomes a national account for us. Sales then are yours across the company nationally. Rep working the company wider and deeper at this point, call comes in for a sale and the Director gives it to the person who answered the phone, who also happens to be the favorite and best friend of the Director even though there was an existing National Account Manager on the account. This isn't my specific account or situation but this happens routinely. I think it is bull shit. Thoughts? how would you handle it if it was your National?
