I would go to WAR for their cofounder.

Serious comment: had a buddy ascend from SDR to Dir of Inside Sales before leaving for another startup. He really enjoyed the time there and it gave him a solid toolset. They beat ADP and Bamboo like it’s nothing because their sales process isn’t pushing a solution, it’s building a relationship based on the goals and needs of the customer.

I feel like all companies say their sales teams will build a relationship based on the goals and needs of the customer. partner with the goals and needs of the customer. Or use some buzzword word that means that

So what do you think Rippling does differently in actually doing that?

They don't try to push their entire platform on you like it's an all-or-nothing endevor. ADP tries to crush you with information and the "expert" tone and doesn't offer up much of a conversation--feels more like a dictation of the solution that everyone gets.

I feel like in the world of HRIS, Rippling and Workday have the best teams I've worked with or spoken to.

Sounds like a good model.

I will say that I dislike Workday from an applicant perspective.

Take a look at Glassdoor for culture reviews, and RepVue for Quota attainment. Good luck...

Have a friend that works there and is enjoying it. People swear by their software as well. It's nice to have a good product to sell...

I have no insight into their sales team but they apparently went above and beyond during the SVB situation to make sure their customers employees got paid promptly. That type of stuff screams well run org

I do know that they seem to be hiring like crazy right now. A few connections in my network moved over to them. One was an AE at JustWorks (and man did they have horror stories) for a few months before jumping over to them.

The product is good. Interviewed there, pay was incredibly low for market value. Was started by the guy that started Zenefits lots of issues/sketchiness there tho don’t know how aware he would of been to that stuff. It’s easy to find the zenefits details.
