Received word this week that I'll be the RSD for my territory starting next month. 10 years in sales, 20 months at this company.
The territory is changing, so 3 of my current peers will become direct reports and 5 will be new to the segment. 3 of those 5 have been around for quite a bit longer than me and one of those 3 is going from a specialist RSD role to an AE individual contributor.
Any advice on setting the tone day one? My biggest thing will be to keep the CRM updated at least once a week so I can forecast accurately.
What other tricks/advice can you offer this new RSD?
