Gong is a cool tool if its not used as spyware to micromanage. Unfortunately thats how my company uses it. I've used Chorus at a different job. Same features with worse UI basically.
They are all spy tools. Those of us who've been around know. ๐ฏ

We have Chorus, and it can be helpful for transcription. We also have Teams, which does the same thing, but can't be accessed by management in case they need to review. Ostensibly, we are using it for two things: transcription and easier capture of notes and follow up, but also in case things go sideways downroad and we have to sort out who said what so we are able to clearly sort out any issues.
I've not used Gong, and wouldn't expect it to be a tool for my AE group.

Management should be able to access Teams - sounds like your admin hasn't set things up properly.
I actually like the Teams transcription.
Side note: Watching the real time captioning when having a meeting that features a foreign language is so damn entertaining. I was working with a Czech company and our partner in that country kept having asides. Looked like cold war code - 'maple nipple top' stuck out in my memory.

The transcriptions are meaningless when you have a thick accent. FYI.
